The objective of this project is to improve the current state of the art of Transformation Induced Plasticity material models by introducing physically informed data. In this regard, MU’ student Paul Iruretagoiena, under Mines’ Prof Kester Clarke supervision, conducts the experimental, microstructural observations and model development.
